Camps and Holidays

We have hosted many successful rowing/sculling training camps and holidays using the 2k Championship lake at Montemor o Velho and longer distance on the River Mondego for all levels: Beginners, Schools, Clubs , Uni's and Elite squads - and we operate all year round.
For all types of camp we provide all the facilities you need including purpose-built rowing lake, boat storage, gym & spa facilities, accommodation, meals and transport and we can also provide boats, launches and bikes as well as coaching if needed.
We have paired up with the Portuguese National Centre for Coastal and Beach Sprint rowing so if you fancy training for a few days or week or more, or just trying out this new addition to the Olympics in LA 2028, then do let us know. We have over 10 years of hosting many camps for all standards from beginners to international standard and we are well prepared and experienced in running camps to exacting standards for small to large groups to enable them to extract the maximum benefit from their commitment to the camp.

Whether for serious training in preparation for a regatta or championship, or something a little more relaxed, you’ll get the same excellent support and services, all tailored to your needs.

BRC Junior camp at GoFigueira

We are a group of 30 (23 junior rowers and 7 coaches) and have just returned home from a fantastic camp with GoFigueira. Duncan had everything so well organised from the minute we stepped off of the plane! From the airport transfers to the daily bus shuttles to and from the lake, the boats that were rigged and ready to go, the fab coaches bikes (that were so good we only used the launch once!), and the vast amounts of food provided at every meal time.... we loved it all!
We can highly recommend this camp!
