About Us
GoFigueira is a UK based Tour Operator complying with UK Travel Regulations including financial failure protection of clients’ monies provided by our membership of the Protected Trust Services (PTS) scheme, our membership number is 5821.
We run specialist training and holiday camps in Portugal in Rowing and Surfing but also run events for other activities and all based in the beautiful beach resort town of Figueira da Foz.
Where We are
Figueira da Foz is a beach town located on Portugal’s west coast approximately half way between Lisbon and Porto. Our accommodation is close to the marina and just 5 minutes walk from the beach and main centre of town and also 10 minutes walk from the rail and bus station.

Train
Trains In Portugal are fantastic value, very comfortable, clean and frequent. They are very popular but in our experience it has been always possible to just turn up and book a seat on the next train. However to be certain of a seat we recommend booking online in advance at www.cp.pt

Take The Metro From The Airport To ‘Porto-Campanha’ Rail Station In Porto. Then Take A Train To Coimbra-‘B’ Station And Change There For Figueira. (Cost About €20 Single- Kids Under 5 Free, 6-12 Half Price). Sometimes it is quicker to go to Alfarelos Rather Than Coimbra-B, As You’ll Then Be Much Closer To Figueira Before Making The Connection To Figueira

Take The Metro (Red Line) At The Airport Or A Taxi From The Airport To ‘Oriente’ Rail Station In Lisbon (About 5 Mins And €5). Then Take A Train To Either Alfarelos Or Coimbra-‘B’ Station And Change There For The Train To Figueira. (Cost About €19- Kids Under 5 Free, 6- 12 Half Price)
Bus
There is an extensive bus network in Portugal and a bus service direct from Lisbon to Figueira that takes 3 hours and costs about €18 and provides free Wifi.
The bus leaves from station Sete Rios in central Lisbon – from the airport catch a Taxi (€10 Or Less) or take the ‘Aero Bus ’from outside the airport – Two stops , Costs €3.50 and runs every 40 minutes weekdays and hourly weekends and holidays. Information on times , directions etc from Tourist Information at the airport. There is no direct bus between Porto and Figueira but Rede Expresso do a connection via Leiria that takes about 4 hours .
